The Area
Pinewood Cottage is located off Highway 3, just outside the historic seaside village of Chester. Halifax is approximately 40 minutes’ drive.
The village amenities are just minutes away, including grocery store, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants, art and craft galleries and other shops.
Chester also has a Yacht Club, golf course, tennis courts, ice rink, small beach with in-season outdoor swimming pool and the Playhouse Theatre.
The property is on the scenic, coastal Lighthouse Route, in an area ideal for outdoor recreational activities including sailing, canoeing and kayaking, trail walking and cycling, as well as coastal exploring and sightseeing. There are also sandy beaches nearby.
The towns of Bridgewater, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg are also within driving distance.
